Two Walsh Residents Injured in Baca County Crash

One Vehicle Rollover in Baca County
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a single vehicle accident in Baca County on northbound Colorado 287, milepost 32 during inclement weather. A Chevrolet Suburban with four occupants spun out of control and rolled several times coming to final rest on its passenger side in the borrow ditch on the west side of Colorado 287.
The driver of the vehicle, Cassie Brooks age 30 of Walsh, CO and Brian Brooks age 34 of Walsh, CO were seriously injured during the rollover. The two minor passengers in the vehicle were not seriously injured in the accident.
Cassie Brooks and Brian Brooks were flown to Swedish Medical Center in Denver for treatment.
The contributing factors to the accident are still under investigation.
