FREE Flu Clinic

Due to an abundance of vaccine, Prowers County Public Health & Environment will be offering a FREE flu clinic at their office on Thursday, March 1, 2012, 9am‐12pm, 1pm ‐ 5pm. Flu vaccinations will be available for both children and adults free of charge. Prowers County Public Health & Environment would like to encourage ALL residents to take advantage of this free clinic if they haven’t already received their flu vaccination. Anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting the flu can get vaccinated however those who are considered high risk should especially be vaccinated. It normally takes 2 weeks after receiving the flu shot for the body to build immunity against the flu so there is still time to help reduce the chance of getting the flu.
