City of Lamar Sales Tax Revenue Report, November, 2011

November 2011 Lamar city sales tax revenue collected in December shows only a fraction of a percent gain for the month and a slight decrease for Total taxes collected for the same period.
November city sales tax was up 0.91% for a gain of $2,110.19 over the same time last year, and a drop of 0.97% in Total sales and Use Tax Collections for the same period, a drop of $2,499.33. Year to Date tax collections faired better with city sales tax up 2.63 for the year at $76,569.07 for a YTD total of $2,986,167.73 for 2011, compared to $2,909,598.07 for 2010. Total sales and Use Tax Collections, YTD were up 2.33% for an improvement of $73,377.40. Year to Date collections for 2011 are $3,227,361.83 compared to 2010 figures of $3,153,984.43.
