Mary A. Helm…August 16, 1913 – December 26, 2011

    Funeral services for Syracuse, Kansas resident Mary A. Helm will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday December 30, 2011 at the Syracuse Wesleyan Church in Syracuse, KS.. Pastor Paul Runyon will officiate and burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
   Visitation for Mrs. Helm will be held from 10:00 A.M. to  12:00 Noon on Friday December 30 at the Syracuse Wesleyan Church.
    Mary was born on August 16, 1913 on a farm South of Syracuse, KS. the daughter of Rolla Browning and Sidney Watson Browning. She departed this life on Monday December 26, 2011 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Syracuse at the age of 98.
         Mrs. Helm was preceded in death by her parents Rolla and Sidney  Browning of Syracuse, KS.; by her husband George W. Helm of Syracuse, KS.; by a daughter Darlene Zimmett, R.N. of Syracuse, KS.; by a grand daughter Mary Kay Zimmett-Brownlee, D.V.M. of Greeley, CO. ; by four brothers Rolla Browning, Levi Browning, Cpt. James Browning, and Francis Browning, and by four sisters Sidnie Mullin, Elizabeth  “Betty” Conard, Janie Browning and Kathryn Puckett.
    Mary is survived by her grandson-in-law Earl Brownlee of Greeley, CO.; by five great grand- children Jordan Brownlee , Eden Brownlee, Gabriella Brownlee, Kamie Brownlee , and Isabella Brownlee, all of Greeley, CO.; by a brother Donald (Anne) Browning of Aurora, CO.; by a sister Lois McPhail of Roundrock, TX.; by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as by many great and great- great  nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
