Friday 5pm Whistle, Plus 10 Seconds

Not the best way to start the weekend this past Friday, as two vehicles smacked into each other at the Main Street intersection in downtown Lamar.
There were no injuries, but the vehicles sustained approximately $2,200 damages. Because of the location, Main Street between Olive and Elm Street was blocked off to allow access of a fire engine and ambulance, so traffic had to be detoured until the scene was cleared by the police department.
