City of Lamar Holiday Closings

The City offices will be closed on Friday, December 23^rd and Monday, December 26^th, 2011 in observance of the Christmas holiday.  The Public Library will be closed on Friday, December 23^rd, Saturday, December 24^th and Monday, December 26^th, 2011 and will reopen Tuesday, December 27^th at 9:00 a.m.  The Community Building will be closed Saturday, December 24^th, Sunday, December 25^th and Monday, December 26, 2011 in observance of the holiday and will reopen Tuesday, December 27^th, 2011.   

Residential and Commercial refuse collection scheduled for Friday, December 23^rd and Monday, December 26^th will be collected as normally scheduled.   Please have your containers in place the by 6:30 a.m.  

The Municipal Landfill will be open Friday, December 23^rd and Monday, December 26^th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  The Municipal Landfill will be closed on Saturday, December 24^th and Sunday, December 25^th. 

NOTICE – there will be NO free weekend at the City Landfill and Transfer Station for the weekend of December 24th.
