The Town of Granada hired a replacement officer last week, replacing former officer Ramsay. The new officer is Daniel Gorton, who has been in law enforcement since 2004, and recently was a Sergeant for Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office.
Officer Gorton is a graduate from the Arapaho Community College Police Academy for P.O.S.T. certification in 2004. Officer Gorton is currently married with one child. His wife Christie is pinning him with his new badge following the administering of his oath of office.
