Candy Cane Festival is this Weekend

Friday shopping hours will run from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday’s shopping events will run from 10am to 4pm.  Holiday specials will be available at The Lassie, Country Treasures, Flower Boutique, Carla’s Dress Shop, Betiannes, J & N Shoes, Crafter’s Corner, Main Street Shoppe, and Country Home Furnishings.

Saturday specials include Santa at the downtown PCDI Office from 10 to Noon with free pictures and cookies; Santa travels to Walmart from Noon to 2pm and you can enter to win a bicycle; kids can learn holiday crafting from Crafter’s Corner from 10am to 3pm, there’s a free movie matinee for kids at 2pm, at the Lamar Theater sponsored by the Lamar Chamber and LPI; the Main Street Shoppe is giving away free hot chocolate and choo-choo train rides downtown will run from 11am to 1pm from the locomotive at the Lamar Chamber.  The Lamar High School Notables will be caroling downtown through the day.
