            Graveside funeral services and burial for Las Vegas, NV. and former Holly, CO. resident Gary “Sunny” Walkinshaw will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 8, 2011 at the Holly Cemetery, Holly, Colorado. Pastor Eugene Birt will officiate.

            Visitation for Gary will be held from 12:00 noon to 7:00 P.M. on Friday October 7, 2011 and 9:00 A.M. to noon on Saturday October 8, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado.

            Gary was born on September 14, 1970 at Lamar, CO. and departed this life on Sunday October 2, 2011 unexpectedly in Las Vegas, NV. at the age of 41.

            Mr. Walkinshaw was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Kermit Walkinshaw of Holly, CO.; and by his paternal grandmother Ruth Wartman of Holly, CO., and paternal grandfatherNoah Whisenand of CA..

            Gary is survived by his mother Kermit Jo (Skip) Moldenhauer of Holly, CO.; by his father Gary Whisenand of Lamar, CO.; by his maternal grandmother Emogene Walkinshaw of Port Orchard, WA.; by four brothers and sisters Kate Moldenhauer of Holly, CO., and Heather Whisenand of Denver, CO., Ryan Whisenand of CO. , and Zach Whisenand of Lamar, CO.,; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends to include his longtime friend Albie Hargrave of Atlanta, GA..
