Richard L. Wright…May 6, 1948 – October 14, 2011

            Richard L. Wright of Sheridan Lake, Colorado departed this life on Friday October 14, 2011 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar, Colorado at the age of 63.

            Richard was born May 6, 1948 at Ordway, Colorado the son of Charles A. and Mary Ann Wright.     Per Richard’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.  A private family scattering of cremains will take place at a later date.

            Richard was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Wright of Eads, CO. in October of 1993; by his father Charles A. Wright of Eads, CO. in October of 2006; and by a brother Charles Wright of Randlett, OK..

            He is survived by a daughter Pamela Shafer of Colorado Springs, CO.; by two grandchildren Shaylee and James; by 3 great grandchildren; and by six brothers and sisters James (Hazel) Wright of Florence, CO., Charlotte (Junior) Cook of Eads,CO., Mary Jane (Jerry) McCrackin of Springfield, CO., Marvin (Ruby) Wright of Limon, CO., Norma Richards of Lamar, CO., and Robert Wright of Arvada, CO.. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
