Melvin “Mick” Vagher…June 1, 1925 – October 23, 2011

A graveside service for longtime Bristol resident, Melvin “Mick” Vagher will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Sunnyslope Cemetery in Bristol, Colorado with Reverend Rory Gillespie of the Bristol Presbyterian Church officiating.

Visitation for Mick will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and Friday from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at Peacock Family Chapel.

Mick was born on June 1, 1925 at Hartman, Colorado to David and Emma Marie (Schwisow) Vagher and passed away on October 23, 2011 at his home in Bristol with his family by his side at age 86.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter; Trish Schomaker, son-in-law; Robert Jensen, infant brother; Leroy Vagher and brother; Elmer Vagher.

Mick is survived by his wife; Ann Vagher of the family home in Bristol, daughters; Tanya Jensen of Granada, Jan (Bill) Larson of Pueblo and Leann (Craig) Shomaker of Bristol, grandchildren; Amber (Chris) Furler, Brent Larson, Eric (Lindsey) Jensen, Ryan (Carrie) Jensen, Tracy (Chris Hainer) Jensen and Cole (Kendra) Schomaker. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren; Tre, Austin, Shae, Tressa, Lincoln and Brylen as well as numerous other family and a host of friends.
