Lamar Homecoming, 2011

Homecoming 2011 has been observed through the week, culminating with the traditional football game on Friday night, as the Savages host Colorado Springs at Savage Stadium. Friday’s top event was the traditional Savages Parade at 2:30pm along Main Street in preparation of the football match up this evening.  Lamar defeated CSCS 34-3 in the Conference Game.

A number of activities took place through the week for Homecoming, including: the Wednesday pep rally, Powder Puff Football on Thursday and Friday’s parade featuring a wall of football players on their float, football matchup and Homecoming Dance, set for 9 to midnight Friday evening.
