Juniper Village hosted a community open house, Tuesday, October 25, to showcase their Bridge to Home Therapy program.
Juniper Village and Genesis Rehab Services developed a portion of the Village into a physical therapy wing, offering out-patient and resident services for various physical therapy needs. The goal is to create a ‘bridge’ between acute hospital care to rehabilitation and eventually a return to home for a patient. The program involves a comprehensive regimen including: education, pain management, home safety, exercise programs, adaptive equipment and caregiver training.
