Edith L. McMillan…August 20, 1914 – October 17, 2011

             Graveside Memorial Services for lifelong Granada resident, Edith L. McMillan will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 PM at the Sunnyslope Cemetery in Bristol, Colorado with close family friend, David Crossland officiating.

Per Edith’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

             Edith was born on August 20, 1914 at Granada, Colorado to Walter and Oma (VanLandingham), McMillan and passed away on October 17, 2011 at her home in Granada at the age of 97 with her family by her side.   She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Bessie Tuck.
           
            Edith is survived by her son Lawrence McMillan of Granada, niece Oma (David) Tuck-Dunn of Blue Hill, Nebraska, nephew Clark (Marilyn) Tuck, cousins; Shelley (Ken Clutter) McMillan, Mike McMillan and Kelly McMillan all of Arvada, CO. She is also survived by her great niece Laura Dietz of Ft. Collins, CO, great nephew Byron Tuck of Arvada and special friend Vicky DeLaRosa of Granada as well as her many friends in the Granada Community.
           
            Memorial Contributions may be made to the Granada First Responders or to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or through the Peacock Funeral Home.
