DECA Students at LHS Conduct Annual Coat Drive

The Lamar High School DECA club is having their annual coat drive and is collecting coats in good condition for area children. The donated coats will be given to children, who need them, in the elementary schools.
The coats are cleaned by Quality Dry Cleaners for free. Coats can be donated at Alco, the Community Building, Wal-Mart, and Safeway. Any donations would be appreciated.
DECA students will deliver the coats sometime around the end of November, but no date is set yet. Students visit each elementary school and deliver the coats based on who the teachers feel need them. The DECA students match coats to the student based on size and color. The coats are kept at the high school and students donate any adult sized coats to Mary Martha Ministeries.
For information, contact Janell Martin during school hours at 336-3488.
