Berney Gail Hoover…December 5, 1918 – October 13, 2011

Graveside funeral services and burial for longtime Holly, Colorado resident Berney Gail Hoover will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday October 17, 2011 at the Holly Cemetery, Holly, Colorado. Rev. Kathy Leathers will officiate. Full military honors will be bestowed by the Holly V.F.W. Post # 4281 and Graveside Masonic Ritual will be provided by the Granada Masonic Lodge # 72 A.F. & A.M.

Visitation for Gail will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday October 16, 2011 and from 9:00 A.M. to noon on Monday October 17, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, Colorado.

Gail was born on December 5, 1918 at Eva, Oklahoma and departed this life on Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Holly Nursing Care Center at the age of 92.

Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by his parents Jeffie and Gladys Hoover of Holly, CO.; by two sons Robert Ray Hoover of Holly, CO. on August 16, 1946 and Kenneth Rex Hoover of Holly, CO. on October 1, 2011; by two brothers infant Earl Hoover of Coolidge, KS. and Jeffie Junior Hoover of Holly, CO. on October 5, 2011; and by four sisters Hazel Williams of Canon City, CO., Beatrice Ratledge of Lannigan, MO., Bernice Cave of Lamar, CO., and Mary Niece of Page, AZ..

He is survived by his wife Marie Hoover of Holly, CO.; by a son Donald Gail Hoover of Santa Rosa, CA.; by three granddaughters Jeri (Tony) Deatherage of Rohnert Park, CA., Jenifer

Crest of Rohnert Park, CA., and Heather Fuqua of Canon City, CO.; by six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and by a host of friends.
