Esther I. Tremain…April 13, 1916 – September 5, 2011

 Funeral services for longtime Holly, Colorado resident Esther I. Tremain will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday September 9, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, CO..  Rev. Kathy Leathers will officiate and burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery, Holly, Colorado.

Mrs. Tremain was born on April 13, 1916 at Washington, Iowa to Paul and Nora Belle Davis and departed this life on Monday September 5, 2011 at the Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly at the age of  95.

Visitation for Esther will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday September 8, 2011 and prior to the service on Friday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Holly, CO.

Mrs. Tremain was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Nora Belle Davis of Holly, CO.; by her husband Wyatt L. Tremain of Holly, CO. on Feb. 6, 1985; by a daughter Sondra Hendrickson of Grand Junction, CO. on Oct. 18, 2000; by three brothers John Everett Davis of Holly, CO., Myral “Bub” Davis of Holly, CO., and Mike Davis of Ulysses, KS.; and by five sisters Thelma Marshall of Arkansas City, KS., Carolyn Blair of Kennewick, WA., Katherine Barnes of Ulysses, KS., Dorothy Brillhart of Lamar, CO., and Patricia Womack of Denver, CO.

Esther is survived by four children Charlotte Peterson of Sun Valley, CA., twins- Lorene Harmon of Holly, CO. and Loren Tremain of Coolidge, KS., and Sharon (Roger) Tonozzi of Fruita, CO.; by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; by one sister Elaine Miller of Santa Clarita, CA.; as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many many friends.
