Election Registration Information

Prowers County Courthouse

From the Prowers County Clerk’s Office

Last day to register to vote for the November 1, 2011, Mail Ballot Election is October 3, 2011.

If you are a registered Active voter you should receive your ballot by mail after October 11, 2011.  Active Voters are the only voters that will automatically receive their ballots by mail for this Coordinated General Election.  The Secretary of State’s Office interprets C.R.S. 1-7.5-107(3)(a)(I), to limit initial mailing of ballots in a Coordinated Mail Ballot Election to only active registered voters.  So, if you didn’t vote in the last election, you may not receive a ballot in the mail automatically.  You may apply for a Mail Ballot through October 25, 2011.  Please contact our office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 719-336-8011.

Please make sure when returning your ballot by the mail, that you have enough postage on it.  The appropriate amount of posted needed when returning your ballot by mail to our office is, $ .44 (cents).  Once again, please have the right amount of postage.

Please contact the Prowers County Clerk’s Office if you have any questions regarding this November 1, 2011.
