Members Needed for County Boards

The Prowers County Board of Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from persons who are residents of Prowers County to fill one (1) position on the Prowers County Emergency Telephone Authority Board.  Appointed members serve as volunteers for a term of three (3) years.

The Prowers County Board of Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from persons who are residents of Prowers County and who either own or lease property in the Deadman Drainage District to fill three (3) positions on the Deadman Drainage District Board.  Appointed members serve as volunteers.  There is an opening for a term of six (6) years, an opening for a term of four (4) years, and an opening for a term of two (2) years.

The letters of interest should be addressed to the Prowers County Board of County Commissioners, 301 South Main Street, Suite 215, Lamar, CO 81052.  Letters must be received by 5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2011.
