Funeral services  for Lamar resident Elden A. Reinert will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 3, 2011 at the Lamar United Methodist Church-Lamar, CO. Pastor Ramon Robledo will officiate and burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery, Holly, CO.

Mr. Reinert was born on June 25, 1933 at Holly, CO. the son of Andrew C. Reinert and Fern M. Frost-Reinert. He departed this life on Friday July 29, 2011 at Juniper Village of Lamar at the age of 78.

Visitation for Elden will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday August 2, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel of Lamar, CO. and prior to the service at the church on Wednesday August 3, 2011.

 Mr. Reinert was preceded in death by his father Andrew C. Reinert of Eads, CO. on Nov. 20, 1986; by his mother Fern M. Reinert of Eads, CO. on March 30, 2000; by one great granddaughter Haylee Lawson-Fanning of Colorado Springs, CO.; by one sister Weltha Plummer of Lamar, CO. on December 10, 2009; by one brother Earl Reinert of Holly, CO. on November 16, 2001; by a sister-in-law Wanda Giskie of Garden City, KS.; and by two brothers-in-law Vernon Plummer of Casper, WY. and Douglas McCracken of Eads, CO.

Elden is survived by his wife Glendoris  Reinert of Lamar, CO.; by four children Diane Anderson of Lamar, CO., Pamela (Ed) Newman of Meeker, CO., Patricia (Kent) Lawson of Colorado Springs, CO., and Mark (Julie) Reinert of Kersey, CO.; by 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; one sister Lois McCracken of Eads, CO.; a sister-in-law Mary Reinert of Holly, CO.; a brother -in-law Ken Giskie of Garden City, KS.; as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
