A Memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Clyde “Bud” Bell, Jr. was held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 9:00AM at the Peacock Family Chapel with Ian Blacker of the Lamar Christian Church Officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
Per Bud’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Bud was born on October 28, 1917 at Canon City, Colorado to Clyde W. and Nell (Halstead) Bell, Sr. and passed away on July 12, 2011 at Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly, Colorado at the age of 93.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter; Mary Ann Bamber.
Bud is survived by his wife; Barbara Bell of Lamar, son Billy (Cindy) Bell of Imperial Beach, California, grandchildren; Brett, Brian and Gycell, as well as his three great grandchildren.
