Bond Reduction Denied for McMillan

A bond reduction hearing was held for Clifford McMillan in the 15th Judicial District Court in Prowers County this past Friday, July 22. McMillan, 44, from Granada, was arrested July 4 on sexual assault charges. His initial bond was set at $20,000 for cash, surety bond or personal property. A bid to have his bail reduced was denied this past Friday.

Lamar Police responded to a call of sexual assault on July 4 and following an investigation and evidence collection, Clifford was charged with sexual assault, use of force and aggravated incest. He is still currently held at the Prowers County Jail. McMillan’s next court appearance will be a pre-trial hearing, scheduled for mid August.
