Shirley A. Snider,  1946-2011

A celebration of life service for Longtime Wiley area resident Shirley A. Snider will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 2, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar. Pastors William Roberts and Chet King will co-officiate and burial will follow in the Holly Cemetery at Holly, Colorado.

Mrs. Snider was born on August 12, 1946 at Lamar, Colorado to August O. Harms and Rosemena P. Hansen Harms and departed this life on June 25, 2011 at her daughters home in Redlands, California at the age of 64.

Visitation for Shirley will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday July 1, 2011          and from 8:00 A.M. to service time on Saturday July 2, 2011 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar, Colorado.

Mrs. Snider was preceded in death by her father August O. Harms of Lamar, CO. on Dec. 31, 1966; by her mother Rosemena Harms of Lamar, CO. on March 3, 1984; by her husband Darrell Snider of Wiley, CO. on July 25, 1990; and by two brothers, Alvin Harms of Lamar, CO. on April 8, 1051 and Ed Harms of Lamar on August 28, 2003.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Sheila snider of Redlands, CA.; by her companion David Snider of Lamar, CO.; by seven brothers and sisters, Richard (Susan) Harms of San Francisco, CA., Elmer (Carol) Harms of Phoenix, AZ., Al (Betty) Harms of Truth or Consequences, NM., Betty Jensen of Napa,ID., Wilma (Jim) Cannon of Pocatello, ID., Violet (Everett) Hazen of Holly, CO., and Beulah DeShazer of Edmond, OK.. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
