Backyard garden enthusiasts are gearing up for another Farm and Crafters Market this August and September. This will be the second year the Lamar Chamber of Commerce, LiveWell Prowers County and Lamar Partnership, Inc. are offering the downtown farmers market.
If you produce locally grown meats, fruits and vegetables, as well as locally produced food items and only handmade, locally, created arts and crafts, contact the Lamar Chamber at 336-4379. An application form and vendor’s license is required to reserve your booth space for a summer of selling. The market will run from August 6 through September 17 from 8am to 11am. Booth space is $10 a week for any of the seven weeks, or a $50 fee covers the cost of all seven weeks.
The Lamar Chamber and Lamar Partnership, Inc. want to turn each Saturday into an entertaining and healthy shopping event. Entertainers who would like to perform during the markets are encouraged to contact the chamber to schedule their dates.
