A graveside memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Henry Dieterle, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday June 5, 2011 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar.  Full military honors will be under the auspices of the Lamar VFW Post # 3621 and the Lamar American Legion Post # 71.
Per Henry’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.
Mr. Dieterle was born on November 30, 1921 in Lamar, Colorado to George Dieterle, Sr. and Marie (Maier) Dieterle and departed this life on Friday May 27, 2011 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado at the age of 89.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; by his wife Ruth Dieterle on January 4, 2011 and by one son-Larry Dieterle on April 29, 2003.
Mr. Dieterle is survived by two daughters-Linda (Kim) Clark; and Rita (Chuck) Thomas; by two sons – Doug Dieterle and Phillip Dieterle; by eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; by four sisters; one brother; and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
