A Graveside Memorial Service for longtime Lamar resident, Donald Lee Canfield will be held at
10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lamar with loved ones officiating.
Per Donald’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.
Donald was born on September 27, 1934 in rural Lamar, Colorado to Sydney Burton and Ethel Marie (Porter) Canfield and passed away on June 7, 2011 at Juniper Village in Lamar at the age of 76.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Carol H. Canfield, parents, and his son; David Lee Canfield.
Donald is survived by his children; Donald (Kate) Canfield of Rosenberg, Texas, Debra Lynn (David) Haeker of Oakland, California, Danni (Doug) Nielson of Lakewood, Colorado, and Donya Louise (Dan) O’Donnel of Casper, Wyoming. He is also survived by his grandchildren-Victoria, Sage, Daniel, Amber, Shannon, and Rebecca, and by his great grandchildren- Hunter, Matthew, Caitlin, Nicky, Nathan, David, Devin, Isabel, and Angelo; and by his siblings; Betty Lou Donahue, Georgetta (James) Driskill and Claudette (Lester) Williams.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Donald Lee Canfield memorial fund in care of the funeral home office.
