Brenda M. Rowe 1961 – 2011

A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar, Colorado resident, Brenda M. Rowe, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday June 13, 2011 at the Lamar Christian Church in Lamar. Ian Blacker will officiate the service and in-urnment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lamar.

Per Brenda’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation.

Brenda was born on October 12, 1961 in Lamar, Colorado to John Rowe and Patricia (Colbert) Rowe and departed this life on Sunday May 22, 2011 at the home of her daughter, following a lengthy illness at the age of 49.

Ms. Rowe was preceded in death by her father John Rowe and by her husband Anthony Jimenez.

Brenda is survived by one daughter – Denise (T.J.) Quintana of Lamar; by three grandchildren – Haven, Trinidie, and Dayzriana Quintana all of Lamar; by her mother – Patricia Colbert-Hernandez-Rowe of Lamar; by two sisters – Nicole (Greg) Young of Mansfield, TX; and Pam VanMatre of Nebraska; by two brothers – Brad Hernandez of Lamar; and Troy Rowe of Nebraska; by three step sisters- Anna (Trent) High; Belinda (Filemon) Pantoja; and Rosa McCord of Kansas; by one step brother – Craig Rowe of Nebraska; and by her step mother – Helen Rowe also of Nebraska; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Brenda M. Rowe memorial fund in care of the Peacock Funeral Home.
