B. Dianne Woodard – 1953 – 2011

A celebration of life memorial service for longtime Lamar resident Dianne Woodard will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday June 14, 2011 at the home of Rick and Karen Woodard at 408 S. 11th St. in Lamar.   Per Dianne’s request cremation will take place and there will be no public visitation.

Dianne was born on September 1, 1953 in Lamar, Colorado to Edwin Leath and Betty Jean (Simmons) Woodard and departed this life on June 9, 2011 at her home in Lamar at the age of 57.

Dianne is survived by one daughter – Jennifer (Ron) Gordon of Brunswick, GA; by four grandchildren – Jenissa, Benjamin, Christopher, and Trinity; by her mother Betty J. Woodard of Lamar; and by two brothers – Russell (Melody) Woodard of Cedar Ridge, CO and Rick (Karen) Woodard of Lamar; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.   She was preceded in death by her father on September 8, 1982.
