Lamar High School senior Bailey Spitz signs his letter of intent to rodeo at Lamar Community College next fall as his parents, Cade and Stephanie Spitz, and brother, Braley, observe with LCC Rodeo Coach Fred Sherwood. Bailey is also an LCC Huddleston-Butler Presidential Scholarship recipient. He is currently second in Team Roping, fourth in Tie-down Roping, first in Cutting, and fourth in contention for Boy’s All-Around in the Colorado State High School Rodeo Association. “He is a great area talent, and I am looking forward to him contributing to our men’s team,” commented Coach Sherwood. “He should have an immediate impact this fall.” Spitz will pursue an Associate of Arts degree in Business while at LCC.
