Trailer House Fire Under Investigation

A house trailer at 109 North 12th in Lamar caught fire early Saturday morning. The Lamar fire department responded from 1:16am until 3:33am to the occupied home. The department report said half of the house was on fire when they arrived. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire, contained only to the ground floor is under investigation. The report stated firemen found a two gallon gas can along the north property line, but did not indicate if it was in any manner related to the fire.
