Rodeo Season Underway at LCC

 The Lamar Community College Rodeo team began its spring season at Gillette College on March 18-20. Sophomore Tyler Schnaufer won first in Team Roping and moved into first place in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings. Fellow sophomore Carter Coble finished second in Steer Wrestling and remained in first place in the region. “Tyler and Carter continued where they left off last fall and are sitting well for college finals qualification,” commented Coach Fred Sherwood. “ The team showed improvement, and we hope to earn more points this week in Torrington.” The team competes in the Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo in Torrington March 26 & 27.
