Lamar Police Make Arrest in School Bomb Scare

Monday, March 28, officers of the Lamar Police Department made an arrest in response to the bomb threat and evacuation of the Lamar High School last week. Officer arrested a 16 year old student at the Lamar High School as a result of the investigation into the incident of March 22nd. The individual arrested, was charged with one felony count of False Report of Explosives and one misdemeanor charge of Interference with a School. The juvenile was screened and transported to the Pueblo Youth Center on a no bond warrant. The investigation is ongoing and other individuals may be charged at a later date.
