LUB Approves Customer Rate Increase
Lamar Utilities Board members approved a 2.5% rate increase effective November 1, 2011. This will be combined with an Emergency ECA, Electric Cost Adjustment of 1.5 cents per kilowatt hour up to a 12 month period.
