Meth Bust in Lamar

Officers from the Lamar Police Department responded to Wal-Mart, 1432 East Olive Street on a report of a theft from the store. Officers from the Police Department and a Prowers County Deputy contacted the suspect vehicle near the intersection of County Road 9 and U.S. Highway 50.
The occupants, later identified as Patrick Patterson, 43, of Conrow, TX and Lindi Lessard, 31, of Billings, MT, admitted to the theft. Officers were given permission to search the vehicle during the investigation.
The search resulted in 23.6 grams of methamphetamine being located. Patterson, who provided a fictitious name, was also found to be wanted out of Montana for forgery with a bond of $35,000.00. Both subjects were arrested and transported to Prowers County Jail where they are held on $20,000.00 bond.
