Burglary Suspect Arrested by LPD

On Wednesday, September 3, Lamar Police Officers received a call of a burglary at 7 Forest Street, Precision Pawn. During the investigation of the burglary, officers learned items taken during a criminal trespass call in the 100 block of West Lee Avenue, which occurred on the previous day, had been pawned by Hunter Fredericks (19) of Lamar.
Officers were able to get a search warrant for Frederick’s residence and upon executing the warrant, located property taken from the pawn shop during the burglary.
Officers later contacted and arrested Fredericks for the burglary on $6,000 bond and further charges are pending.
