Blowing the Whistle on Texting & Driving

The annual Whistle Game between the La Junta Tigers and the Lamar Savages will be at Tiger Stadium in La Junta on Friday, October 26 at 7pm.  Colorado State Patrol Troopers will be there to blow the whistle on texting and driving.

Troopers will be on hand to remind high school students and their families not to text and drive.  They will be giving away mini footballs to students who can show them the Colorado State Patrol La Junta & Lamar tweet about the Whistle Game (twitter.com/CSP_La Junta), with some remaining footballs be given out to the crowd.  The mini footballs will have a message reminding drivers not to text and drive.

The Colorado State Patrol wants our young drivers to focus on driving only and to arrive safely at their destination.  They need everyone’s help to blow the whistle on texting and driving.
