Lamar Police Make Drug Related Arrest

On Friday, June 24, 2011, Lamar detectives and patrol officers arrested Bessie Marie Holloway, 40, of Lamar for a warrant resulting from the investigation of unlawfully distributing a Schedule II controlled substance, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and child abuse.
As a result of the arrest Holloway is also facing an additional charge for resisting arrest. Holloway is being held at the Prowers County Jail on a $30,000 bond for the warrant, as well as $750 bond for resisting.
