Tri State 9/11 Tribute – September 12, 2015
As part of the Tri-State 9/11 Tribute Celebration, we feature a Hall of Honor in the Centennial Building at the Prowers County Fairgrounds, to pay tribute to all First Responders and Military, Past and Present. We will also display patriotic posters created by our area school children.
Once again, we are sending out a request to everyone that would like to pay tribute to one of their heroes – past and present – to submit a framed photo, along with a short narrative of their hero’s service information. These heroes may be a firefighter, emergency medical technician/Paramedic, law enforcement, or military – both active and veterans. Your framed photo may be in a poster or collage format or in an actual frame.
The deadline for submitting your entries is Tuesday, September 8th. You may bring your framed photos or posters to the PCDI Office located at 1301 South Main Street, Suite 103 (in the Cow Palace lobby). All pictures will be become the property of the Tri-State 9/11 Tribute Committee to be displayed at each subsequent Annual Tribute, so be sure to submit COPIES of your photos. Please do not use original photos.
If you have any questions, please call 688-3857 or 691-9465. Thank you.
