PMC Auxiliary Welcomes 2013-2014 Scholarship Recipients

Members of the Prowers Medical Center Auxiliary welcomed its 2013-2014 PMC Auxiliary Scholarship recipients to their meeting on Monday, November 4th. The PMC Auxiliary Scholarship recipients are Deborah Buck, Jessica Hyatt, Andrew (AJ) Johnson, and Brandon Sherwood, all second level Nursing students at Lamar Community College.

Each year the Auxiliary works tirelessly to fundraise for the four $1,000 scholarships as well as make contributions to PMC and other causes. The Auxiliary runs the PMC Gift Shop and sells handmade items and baked goods at numerous bazaars and craft fairs. It will have a large booth at the LCC Art, Craft, Food Festival on Saturday, November 9th. Beautiful handmade items, including aprons, scarves, baby blankets, towels, charm bags as well as baked goods, will be available. They will hold a silent auction for a handmade quilt as well.
