The Northeast Prowers and Kiowa County Conservation Districts presents MANAGING FOR TOUGH TIMES, PREPARING FOR GOOD TIMES (farm/ranch drought management workshop) June 6, 2013 at the Holly Senior & Community Center, 129 South Main Street in Holly, CO from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. This workshop is open to all interested parties. The following topics will be covered: Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Income Tax, Weather Outlook/Drought Conditions, Agriculture Insurance, and Farm/Ranch Stress. The following individuals will be presenting at the workshop:

  • Brian Bledsoe – Meteorologist
  • Jeff Tranel – CSU Agricultural & Business Management Economist
  • Nick Palmer – Golden Plains Insurance
  • J.C. Carrica – Southeast Mental Health Services
