City to Perform Controlled Burn
VPG | Apr 08, 2013 | Comments 0
The Lamar Public Works Department, Lamar Water Department, Lamar Fire Department and Prowers County Rural Fire Department will be burning the Willow Creek Drainage from the area near the Lamar Swimming Pool east towards East Parmenter and then out toward Clay Creek to the east of Lamar. Weather permitting, the burn will begin during the weekend of April 6th and will continue during the week of April 15th and may last for several days. This prescribed burn is being conducted to remove as much debris as possible from the drainage area prior to the rains of spring and early summer. Please contact Public Works Director Pat Mason or Lamar Water Superintendant Josh Cichocki at 336-2002 if you have questions or concerns.
Thank you.
