LAMAR, Colo. – Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering a free informational session about big game hunting. If this is the first time you have considered hunting, or you are an “old pro” who wants to know what is new in 2013, you may benefit from attending the presentation.
“Every year we get questions about how to get the best hunting licenses, so this is a great chance to become familiar with the Colorado hunting license application process,” said Lamar District Wildlife Manager Rick Gardner.
The meeting is 6:30 p.m., March 20 at the CPW office, 2500 S. Main Street. For more information, or to register, call 719-689-2295.
Gardner said the meeting is a great opportunity for anyone interested in hunting deer, elk, pronghorn, bear, moose, bighorn sheep or mountain goat.
The deadline for submitting a 2013 application for a limited hunting license is April 2.
