Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

I am pleased to write this letter in support of my brother, Donald Seufer, candidate for Prowers County Commissioner, District 1.  Even though I reside in Washington State, my heart and hopes will always be strong for the success and prosperity in Prowers County as my entire family resides there.

I believe my brother’s leadership is what is needed to ensure that the county’s economic, business and community development goals are achieved and will excel for future generations. Donald’s extensive knowledge of the region’s water right regulations is significant.  I know he will protect water issues for long-term agricultural and municipal uses as he understands how vital it is to the survival of Prowers County. 

My brother is also a huge pro-active supporter of public schools, including Lamar Community College, knowing that the county’s future depends on the younger generation’s educational preparation.  That support also extends to ensuring the quality of life is sustained by improving health care facilities and emergency services. 

I shared earlier my brother Donald is a strong leader—but he is also a team player with strong networking and collaboration skills.  Donald has the experience, the energy, the dedication and the knowledge to be an outstanding County Commissioner.  I ask you to support him on November 6.
