AVWPE to Perform in Lamar & Holly

Southeast Colorado Concert Association and Southeast Colorado Arts Council present the Arkansas Valley Wind & Percussion Ensemble Spring Concert – 7pm at the Lamar High School Auditorium.  The concert is free to the public and season tickets to the upcoming 2012-2013 community concert association will be available in the commons beginning at 6:00pm.  The concert band will provide a wide variety of classical repertoire for your listening enjoyment.  The Main Street Ringers will perform during intermission and the concert will conclude with the swinging big band sounds of the Valley Jazz Orchestra.  The Valley Jazz Orchestra will feature the “Songs of the Beach Boys” to get everyone in the mood for some Summer fun!  This concert will also be the featured debut of two arrangements by director David Northrup.
