More Board Positions Become Available in Prowers County

The Prowers County Board of Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from persons who are residents of Prowers County and who reside east of County Road 19 to fill one (1) position on the Emergency Telephone Service Communications Board. Appointed members serve as volunteers for a term of three (3) years.
The Prowers County Board of Commissioners is accepting letters of interest from persons who are residents of Prowers County to complete the terms of two (2) Directors on the Lamar Partnership, Inc., Board. Lamar Partnership, Inc., is a non-profit organization which works to provide economic development opportunities within the context of historic preservation to traditional downtowns. Appointed members serve as volunteers. The two (2) terms expire in February 2012.
The letters of interest should be addressed to the Prowers County Board of County Commissioners, 301 South Main Street, Suite 215, Lamar, CO 81052. Letters must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 29, 2011.
