Destination: Downtown! A Few Moments on Main Street

Yes, there is traffic on Main Street, an undeniable fact of life for Lamar citizens. I stood at the intersection of Main and Olive this past Friday, July 29, 2011, and let my camera roll for about two minutes during the noon hour. See anyone you know?

I got a head count of about 85 vehicles during that time, or just about a full cycle of the stop lights at the intersection. It’s easy to see why the CDOT estimates run from 2,500-plus vehicles a day on our streets. Good motoring!
