Kenneth “Ken” Brown…August 13, 1946 – January 24, 2016

Funeral services for Longtime Coolidge, KS resident, L. Kenneth Brown, affectionately known to his family and friends as Ken will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Peacock Funeral Home with Reverend Kathy Leathers officiating, burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.

Per the family’s request there will not be any public visitation.

Ken was born on August 13, 1946 at Lamar, Colorado to Leroy and Helen (Biernat) Brown and passed away at his home on January 24, 2016 at the age of 69.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Brown and his parents, Lou and Helen Eddy.

Ken is survived by his wife, Darlene Brown of the family home in Coolidge, KS; son, Ronnie Brown of Hurst, TX and his siblings, Jaxon (Dana) Brown of Crofton, MD; Charles (Tani) Eddy of Holly; Stacia (Larry) Woods of Wimberly, TX and Aleta Kay (Brian) McNabb of Austin, TX. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends also survive.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Catherine’s Hospice in Garden City, Kansas either direct or in care of the funeral home office.

Services are under the direction of the Peacock Family.
