Frederick Jesse Ramirez…January 20, 1949 – January 24, 2016

A memorial service for longtime Lamar resident, Frederick Ramirez will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Reverend Mariusz Wirkowski officiating. A rosary service will be held prior to the mass at 9:30AM at the church with Deacon Allan Median reciting. Inurnment will follow at a later date.  

Per Frederick’s request cremation will take place and there will be no visitation.  

Frederick was born on January 20, 1949 to Jesse and Lena (Jimenez) Ramirez and passed away on January 24, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 67. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lena Ramirez and an infant brother and sister.  

Frederick is survived by his children, Christopher Ramirez of Aurora, CO and Desiree (Eddie) Vigil of Pueblo; grandchildren, Angelo Ramirez, Alycia Vigil, Arianna Vigil and Alexis Vigil and his father, Jesse Ramirez. He is also survived by his siblings, Danny (Carmen) Ramirez of Rocky Ford, CO; Mary (Doug) Marston of Lamar; Andrew (Toni) Ramirez of Denver; Judith (Allen) Andrade of Lamar; Martin Ramirez of Wichita, KS and Barbara Ramirez of Lamar as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick Ramirez Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home office.
