Danette Elaine Von Hemel was born on July 5, 1962 to Ross Von Hemel and Rosie (Osborn) Vana. Danette never met a stranger.  She respected everyone as her friend. She was awarded Sports Booster of the year by the Holly Booster Club in 2010, a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, and of the Miami Indian Tribe of Oklahoma. Danette passed away on January 12, 2016 at Holly Nursing Care Center in Holly at the age of 53.
