Millard F. Cummings…July 13, 1923 – November 28, 2015

A memorial service for lifetime McClave, Colorado resident, Millard F. Cummings will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday December 19, 2015 at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar with Ray Matteson of the Lamar Christian Church officiating. A private family in-urnment will take place at a later date.

Per Millard’s request, cremation will take place and there will be no public visitation.

Millard F. Cummings was born on July 13, 1923 in Lawrence, Kansas to Frank Rose Cummings and Valentine Ollie Lessenden-Cummings and departed this life on Saturday November 28, 2015 at his home in McClave at the age of 92.

Mr. Cummings was preceded in death by his parents, by two sons – William Cummings and Daniel Cummings, and by two brothers- Archie Cummings and Highland Cummings.

Millard is survived by two daughters – Shawna (Tony) Brino of Rosamond, CA; Cindy (Randy) Morlan of Hasty; by seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and by one sister – Helen Demers of Karlton, Minnesota as well as by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project or to a charity of one’s choice either directly or through the funeral home office.
